Our Mission First Goal:
- to be a church that acts on God’s overwhelming call to respond with compassion to the vulnerable
- to educate ourselves and others about our life with undocumented people, refugees, and immigrants and to provide assistance as much as possible
- to address issues of health care, disabilities, and special needs children
- to work for human rights for all people, including Muslims, Jews, other minority religious groups, women, LGBTQ+, and more
- to remain committed to the poor, the hungry, the homeless, people with mental health issues, the uneducated, the powerless, and those who are afraid

Discussion:
- Munsty led our Lenten conversation today.
Joys and Concerns:
- Janet’s father passed away this past week; yet, joyfully, she has been reunited with her two nieces and a nephew with whom she will have dinner this week.
- Ann contracted COVID this week.
- Munsty’s kiddos, Chalo and Jasmine, are struggling to find insurance to adequately support them for their baby’s upcoming birth.
- Cos had lunch with Kathi this past week and was delighted that she ate an entire plate of corned beef and cabbage.
- Sherrill is very sad that Karen is moving to Oregon for a new job.
- Canaan Harris, pastor of Central Christian Church, passed away very suddenly this week from an aggressive form of cancer.
