Our Mission First Goal:
- to be a church that acts on God’s overwhelming call to respond with compassion to the vulnerable
- to educate ourselves and others about our life with undocumented people, refugees, and immigrants and to provide assistance as much as possible
- to address issues of health care, disabilities, and special needs children
- to work for human rights for all people, including Muslims, Jews, other minority religious groups, women, LGBTQ+, and more
- to remain committed to the poor, the hungry, the homeless, people with mental health issues, the uneducated, the powerless, and those who are afraid

Discussion:
- Cheryl began our new study with a discussion of the introduction to Colors of Hope.
Joys and Concerns:
- Sherrill finished up her brain scans and will receive results from her doctor on Wednesday.
- Cookie received word from her doctor that her aneurysm is stable. No changes is good news.
- Cheryl received word from her doctor that her stress test was within normal ranges.
- Cheryl’s former colleague and friend, Kitty, passed away this week.
- Mark Pumphrey fell and has a hematoma behind his knee cap. He’s in a lot of pain and can’t walk.
- Prayers and love for Phil M., as he is having a difficult time right now.
- Debbie defends her project dissertation on Thursday in Tulsa.
